I’ve traveled the world, discovering unique cultures and cuisines. I mastered my favorite dishes, inspired by my experiences. Despite my MBA degree, my true passion lies in the kitchen.
Good Food Makes me Happy
I have always loved cooking, tasting, and exploring food. So in 2016, I relocated to the vibrant city of Barcelona to open my first restaurant. It was a dream come true, a culmination of years of passion and hard work. Sadly, in 2020, Covid killed that dream for me and many other restaurant owners, forcing us to close our doors and face an uncertain future.
I decided to go back to Project Management, with a Web Services company, and got into blogging, channeling my creativity and love for food into a new medium. In 2023, I decided to share my recipes here, with you, hoping to inspire and connect with fellow food enthusiasts. Through this blog, I aim to bring the joy of cooking and the flavors of my travels into your kitchen, one recipe at a time.
Well tested recipes
None of my recipes are what you would call “Gourmet,” though some do have a touch of fanciness to them. You won’t need to master any intricate French cooking techniques to prepare these dishes. However, there is one small exception: if you decide to make a stir-fry, having some basic wok skills will be incredibly beneficial and make the process much smoother.
My primary focus is on two key aspects: Time and Reward. I aim to create dishes that deliver exceptional taste with the least amount of effort required. Most of my recipes involve about 10-15 minutes of preparation time and take a total of 30-45 minutes to complete. That said, there are a few recipes that follow the ‘slow and low’ method, requiring a bit of prep at the beginning and then allowing the dish to simmer and develop flavors throughout the day.
All of my recipes have been crafted with the everyday cook in mind. They have been rigorously tested and re-tested to ensure they are both delicious and easy to follow. I understand the importance of simplicity and efficiency in the kitchen, especially for those with busy schedules.
